IRS Refund Scheduled to be Mailed December 6, 2024 - How to Verify Mailing Address?
Filed my taxes few weeks ago and I need to know when my refund will get here. According to the IRS "Refund Status" page, it shows that my Return was Received and Refund was Approved. The page specifically states: "Your tax refund is scheduled to be mailed by December 06, 2024. If you do not receive the refund by January 03, 2025, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then." I'm getting kinda worried since its been a minute and haven't gotten any updates. Does this mean I just have to wait until December 6th for it to be mailed? Also where can I find the address its being mailed to on my transcript? I want to make sure they have the right address on file. I checked the "Refund Status Results" page but don't see where it shows the mailing address they plan to use. Should I be concerned that I don't know where they're sending my refund check?

You can check your mailing address by accessing your tax transcript on IRS.gov. Look at your Account Transcript - the address should be listed at the top. As for timing, check your Return Transcript for cycle codes and processing dates.

Look for a series of numbers that ends in 05 or 03. Its usually near the top of your account transcript

make sure u didnt check the paper check box by accident when filing. loads of ppl do this and dont realize it'll come by mail instead of direct deposit
