Help with e-filing 1040X after Tax Advocate found missing W2 causing refund hold
My refund is on hold because tax advocate found another W2 i didn't include in my return. How do I file an amended return electronically to fix this? Never done this before and really need my refund released.

You can file a 1040X electronically through most tax software like TurboTax, H&R Block, or TaxAct. You'll need your original return info and the missing W2. Make sure to explain in Part III of the 1040X that you're adding previously unreported income. The processing time is typically 16 weeks for amended returns.

Make sure u print out your wage and income transcript from irs.gov first to check if theres any other missing forms before amending!
