Filed 2/17 - Stuck on One Bar, Can't View Transcript - Varo Early Deposit Waiting Game

Sooo I filed and got accepted on Feb 17th but I've been stuck on the first bar in WMR ever since 😩 Can't even view my transcript for some reason! Really hoping I'm part of the 3/10 deposit club since I have Varo and they usually post deposits early. This waiting game has been WAY more stressful than dealing with PATH last year!!! Anyone else in the same boat or have any insight?

The IRS is experiencing significant processing delays this season. Many early-mid February filers are seeing extended wait times. The inability to view your transcript is actually common during initial processing stages - the system hasn't generated the transcript data yet. The 3/10 deposit date is possible but not guaranteed based on your filing date.

Are you claiming any credits like EIC or Child Tax Credit? That could explain the delay.

No credits this year, that's why I'm so confused! Just a simple return with W2 income. Last year with PATH I at least knew why I was waiting...

I was in the exact same situation (filed 2/15, stuck on one bar forever). I finally got access to my transcript last week and used https://taxr.ai to analyze it. The tool explained all the codes and actually predicted my DDD correctly - got my refund yesterday! It was super helpful for understanding what was happening behind the scenes when WMR was useless.

How accurate is that site really? I've seen people mention it but I'm always skeptical of these tax tools.

I was skeptical too honestly! But it actually broke down each code on my transcript and explained what they meant specifically for my situation. Way more helpful than just googling random codes and getting generic explanations. It showed me exactly where my return was in the process and when to expect my refund.

I have Varo too and filed around the same time. From my experience the past few years, Varo usually posts IRS deposits 1-2 days before the official date. So if you're in the 3/10 batch, you might see it as early as 3/8 or 3/9.

The transcript system has been super glitchy this year. I couldn't view mine for 3 weeks after filing, then suddenly it appeared with a DDD. The WMR tool didn't update until after my refund was actually deposited lol.

When I was stuck in this situation last month, I got tired of waiting and tried calling the IRS. Spent hours on hold and kept getting disconnected. Finally used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to get through to an agent in about 15 minutes. The agent confirmed my return was just in normal processing with no issues, and gave me my DDD which wasn't showing up anywhere else yet. Totally worth it to stop the anxiety of wondering what was happening.

Omg thank you for this tip! I've been going crazy checking WMR like 5 times a day. Might try this tomorrow if nothing changes!

I second this. Used Claimyr last week after being stuck in limbo for almost a month. The IRS agent found a simple issue with my address format that was holding things up. Fixed it on the spot and got my DDD for next week.
