Filed 1040X amendment 8 months ago - still no updates on Where's My Amended Return tool

Filed an amendment for 2022 taxes back in June and the Where's My Amended Return tool still shows nothing. Called IRS multiple times but keep getting hung up on by the automated system. Anyone know what to do or dealing with the same thing?

Tax pro here - amendments are taking 20+ weeks minimum right now. The Where's My Amended Return tool is notorious for being inaccurate. Best way to track progress is by pulling your transcript every few weeks to look for updates.
