Yes, this means you are going to get a refund. Has it been more than 21 days since you received this update? If so, I recommend calling the to see if they can explain what the hold up is. Claimyr is absolutely the fastest way to do that.
I think claimyr has been a lifesaver for all of us at this point. I waited on hold for more than 4 hours last week to be disconnected as soon as the answered. It was frustrating but thankfully i found this website. I’m amazed.
As a tax pro it’s made my life so much easier. Juggling different clients is a struggle with 3 hour wait times to speak to an agent. With Claimyr I can speak to them 5-10 times in one day. We’ve all needed this for YEARS.
When my daughter had that it took around two weeks before her processed and she received her a few days after that. Be sure to look for an 846 code on your tax transcripts. If you haven’t checked those yet I recommend doing that. You can find them here:

I’ve seen hundreds of instances of this on here this year. It’s normal, it just makes everyone a little uneasy. Don’t stress, I’m sure it will be completed soon. It always helps to speak with an to ease my worries, they normally tell us if we have anything to worry about. Hoping for a speedy my friend. 🤞
To all those having trouble reaching a human at IRS. I just ran across this video that gave me a shortcut to reach a human. Hope it helps! https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c
Tax topic 152 is completely normal and just indicates your is being processed. I had the same code for about 3 weeks before my was approved. The key thing is to be patient - the is still working through a backlog from previous years.
If it's been more than 21 days since you filed, definitely check your account online to see if there are any specific that might indicate what's holding things up. Most of the time it's just a matter of waiting your turn in the queue. Keep checking and your for updates!

I agree with everyone here, I would say go ahead and call just to be sure they don’t need any further from you. This code is absolutely normal.
