Tax Topic 152 on WMR - is this good news or am I screwed?
Just checked Where's My Refund and got Tax Topic 152. Been reading different things online - some say its good others say its bad. Anyone know what this actually means? Filed like 3 weeks ago and getting anxious about when ill see my refund.

Tax Topic 152 is actually a neutral message - it's just a general reference about tax refunds. It simply means your return is being processed and you're eligible for a refund. Not good or bad news, just means the IRS received your return and is working on it. The normal processing time is 21 days for e-filed returns.

Hey! Instead of stressing over codes, I've been using taxr.ai to analyze my transcript. It's only $1 and tells you exactly what's happening with your refund and when to expect it. Way better than trying to decode these messages ourselves https://taxr.ai

β’Dead serious! It analyzes everything - all codes, dates, even catches stuff you might miss. Saved me hours of googling random codes

Tax Topic 152 is definitely neutral - just means your return is in the system and being processed. I've seen it pop up for tons of people and most get their refunds right on schedule. The 21-day timeframe is pretty accurate for e-filed returns, so you should be good! Try not to stress too much about it π
