I'm also seeing quite a few people from the 2/22 batch getting their deposits today, though it seems to possibly depend on your bank. Some banks might take an extra day or two to process, especially if they don't typically release funds early. If you filed on 2/22 and your WMR shows approved with a DDD of today, you should probably see it in your account sometime today, unless your bank has specific holding policies.

Thanks for the info! My credit union usually posts government deposits a day early but nothing yet. Good to know others are seeing movement.

According to IRS Publication 1155 section 3.4, direct deposits must be processed within 1-3 business days of the designated deposit date. Does this mean I should be concerned if it doesn't show by Friday?

I'm a bit confused about the cycle code reference... is that something we should be checking? I'm not sure where to find mine or what it means for deposit timing.

Did you have any credits? Child Tax Credit? Earned Income? Those might delay. Different banks process differently. Some post at midnight. Others mid-morning. Some end of day. When did your WMR update?

Not everyone gets their money on the exact DDD. Banks don't all process the same way. I've seen people wait up to 5 days after their date. Don't panic if yours isn't there yet.

For those still waiting and getting anxious: ā¢ DDDs are only the date the IRS releases funds ā¢ Your bank determines actual posting time ā¢ Some banks hold for 24-48 hours When my deposit was delayed last month, I spent hours trying to reach the IRS. Used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) and got through in 15 minutes. Agent confirmed my payment was sent but my bank was holding it. Saved me days of stress wondering if something went wrong.

How does this service actually work? I'm always wary of third-party services when dealing with tax matters. Do they need access to any personal information or tax details to connect you?

Appreciate the tip! This reminds me of when I used a similar callback service for my state unemployment office. Much better than the 200+ redials I was doing before.

I've spent over 4 hours on hold with the IRS this week. Does this actually get you to a real person who can check your specific refund status? Last time I finally got through they just read me the same info from the website.

Anyone else think it's suspicious how some people get their refunds so fast while others wait forever? Why would people who filed on the same day get such different treatment? Been waiting since early February and still nothing while people who filed weeks after me are getting paid?

The February 22nd batch is definitely hitting accounts today. I received mine at 3:42am this morning. My wife filed February 21st and got hers yesterday. The IRS is actually running ahead of their published schedule for once. March 15th seems to be the target date for most February filers without complications.

Got mine! Just checked after seeing this post. According to the IRS2Go app my status hadn't even updated yet but the money is already in my account. The IRS website still shows processing but Chase already deposited the full amount!

I'm still showing "Return Received" on WMR even though I filed 2/22. Should I be concerned about potential verification delays or identity verification issues if others from the same date are already getting deposits?

I've tracked this for 3 years - exactly 21 days is when 87% of direct deposits hit for standard returns. If you claimed EITC or ACTC, add exactly 7 more days. If your transcript shows an 846 code, your money is definitely on the way within 48 hours regardless of what WMR shows.
