Cycle 5 PATH Act returns showing no transcript updates - what's happening?
Filed early January and got accepted right away. Im a PATH Act filer and was assigned cycle 5. Its already way past the PATH lift date but my transcripts are still showing N/A for 2023. Anyone else stuck in the same situation or know whats going on? Getting worried since most cycle 5 people I know already got their DDD.

The PATH Act delay officially lifted on Feb 15th, but that doesn't guarantee immediate processing. For cycle 5 filers, updates typically happen on Thursdays. Check your transcripts again tomorrow morning - many PATH filers are seeing movement this week. If you claimed EITC or ACTC, your return requires additional verification steps.

The IRS is severely backlogged rn. My tax person said they're still catching up from the pandemic + understaffing issues. Just gotta wait it out unfortunately
