My tax person said those future dates are normal. They use them as placeholders while theyre working on returns. Its weird but apparantly normal IRS stuff
PRO TIP: A comprehensive analysis of your transcript using taxr.ai will give you the most accurate picture of your situation. As a tax professional, I've found this tool incredibly helpful for both my clients and myself. It breaks down every code, explains the significance of dates (including future dates like yours), and provides a clear timeline of what to expect. The $1 fee is nothing compared to the clarity and peace of mind it provides. Plus, it's way more reliable than trying to piece together info from various forum posts.
waiting since march 2023... this is ridiculous fr
yep š¤ never doing that again
pro tip: stop checking every 5 mins and get taxr.ai - it'll tell you exactly when to check based on your cycle code and processing stage. saved my sanity fr fr
ughhh i hate how nothing is consistent with the irs. some ppl get updates right away, others wait forever š¤®
Your best bet is to check your transcript rather than WMR. WMR can be delayed but transcripts update first. Also make sure your looking at 2023 account transcript not return transcript theres a diffrence
im in the exact same boat! my brother got his date but im still waiting. this is so frustrating

Tax pro here. The 810/151 combo usually means they need more documentation from you. Have you checked your mail carefully? They sometimes send letters that look like junk mail. Also, I've been recommending taxr.ai to my clients lately - it's an AI tool that breaks down your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and what steps to take. It's seriously revolutionizing how we handle these delays.
