I've always been cycle 05 for years. Just checked my transcripts and now I'm showing cycle 02. Anyone know what this means? Will this delay my refund? I'm on PATH if that matters.

Filed my taxes on Feb 19 and already got approved! Just checked the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool and got confirmation my refund is scheduled to be mailed by March 2, 2023! The tool shows all three status bars filled in - Return Received, Refund Approved, and Refund Sent. I logged into sa.www4.irs.gov/irfo at 9:48 and was so excited to see these results! The Refund Status Results page clearly shows all three checkmarks: ✓ Return Received ✓ Refund Approved ✓ Refund Sent There's a clear message stating "Your tax refund is scheduled to be mailed by March 2, 2023." They even provided a notice saying "If you do not receive the refund by March 30, 2023, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then." Never seen it this fast before! Less than two weeks from filing to approval! 🎉 At the bottom of the page, there's also a note: "For refund information, please continue to check here, or use our free mobile app, IRS2Go. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day." The page also has buttons for "Get Refund Status," "Refund Help," "Take Survey," and "Log Out" at the top. There's also an "IRS Privacy Policy" link at the bottom. Is this processing time normal? I'm honestly shocked at how quickly they processed everything this year!

Got my federal refund already but Michigan state refund is MIA. Treasury said deposit date was 2/10/2025 but its 7pm and nothing hit my account yet. Anyone else in the same boat with MI state refunds????

Just mailed my tax return but realized theres a mixup with my healthcare. Im on Texas Medicaid for pregnancy but somehow Im listed under marketplace coverage. Will this cause my return to get rejected? What do I do about the 1095 form since I already mailed everything?

Just want to warn everyone about these Facebook tax preparers. I paid $250.00 to Sarina Woodard on December 6, 2024 at 4:08 PM for a tax amendment and still nothing has been done. I have all the payment receipts showing the completed transaction through the payment app, but it's just been excuses after excuses and they won't refund my money. Let me share the exact payment details so you can see I'm not making this up: Transaction details: Date: Dec 6, 2024 at 4:08 PM Amount: $250.00 Payment description: "For amendment- Kalli Pettigrew" Status: Complete Payment sent successfully Payment between To: Sarina Woodard From: Kalli Pettigrew Even though the payment was marked as "Complete" and "Payment sent successfully," no actual work has been done on my amendment. I've been waiting for over two months now, and every time I follow up, I just get more excuses. First it was "I'm working on it," then "I'm waiting on the IRS," and now she barely responds to my messages. The transaction details clearly show the money transfer went through as indicated by the "Complete" status, but I've gotten nothing in return. Not even a draft of the amendment or confirmation that anything was filed. I've sent multiple messages asking for updates with screenshots of this payment receipt, and all I get are vague replies or complete silence. Save yourself the headache and go with a legitimate tax service instead of these Facebook preparers who take your money and disappear! I'm out $250 and still need to get my amendment done elsewhere.
