If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

2025 EITC/ACTC Refund Schedule: February 19-20 Batches with IRS Updates on February 17

Just got the details from Jackson Hewitt about PATH Act refunds for 2025. According to their website, if you claimed either the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), the IRS has to hold the refund until after February 14 due to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act - this is to prevent tax fraud. I was looking at their webpage titled "PATH Act Refund Delays: When to Expect" and it breaks down all the key takeaways: "The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act requires the IRS to hold refunds for taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) until after February 14, in order to prevent tax fraud. The IRS will update its website and app on February 17, 2025, with refund updates for early filers who claimed the EITC or ACTC. PATH funding will be done in two batches, on February 19 and February 20, 2025. Most of the time, the IRS will fund tax refunds within 21 days, but does not guarantee a certain date. The IRS will lift the PATH Act holding requirement on February 17, 2025, and fund most refunds of taxpayers claiming either the EITC or ACTC by February 28, 2025." They're making it clear that the PATH funding will be released in those 2 specific batches - February 19 and February 20, 2025. The IRS website and app will update with refund info for early filers who claimed EITC or ACTC on February 17, 2025. Jackson Hewitt also mentions: "You don't have to wait for the IRS to get money. File with Jackson Hewitt and apply for a No Fee Tax Refund Advance loan, and you could get money the same day if approved on a prepaid card." They even have a promotion saying "NEW CLIENTS save money on expert tax prep. Starting at $49! Terms apply." If you claim the EITC or ACTC on an early filed return, the IRS puts a hold on your refund for a special review to make sure you report these credits correctly. I know these credits are important for families, but this holding period is frustrating and ridiculous. The webpage acknowledges how important tax refunds are for families. Anyone else stuck waiting on PATH refunds? I understand they need to prevent fraud, but making families wait until late February when many people file in January seems excessive.

Why Is IRS Reducing My 2022 Refund by $2,006? 570 Code With $13,065 vs $11,059 Discrepancy on Transcript

I'm looking at my 2022 transcript and noticed a 570 code. What's concerning me is the difference between what I calculated versus the IRS computer figures. Looking at page 5 of 9 from my transcript under the "Amount Owed" section: REFUNDLAMOUNT: $-13,065.00 ESTIMATED TAX CREDIT APPLIED TO NEXT YEAR: $0.00 ESTIMATED TAX PENALTY: $0.00 TAX ON INCOME LESS STATE REFUND PER COMPUTER: $0.00 BAL DUE/OVER PYMT USING TP FIG PER COMPUTER: $-13,065.00 BAL DUE/OVER PYMT USING COMPUTER FIGURES: $-11,059.00 FORM 8888 TOTAL REFUND PER COMPUTER: $0.00 As you can see, there's a $2,006 difference between what I calculated ($13,065.00) and what the IRS computer is showing ($11,059.00). This is really concerning me since it's a significant amount. Could this $2,006 discrepancy between my figures and the IRS computer calculations be the reason for the 570 code? I've been checking my mail daily but haven't received any notices from the IRS yet explaining the difference. I'm really worried about what's causing this and how it might affect my refund timing. I double-checked my calculations multiple times before filing, so I'm confused about where this difference might be coming from. The transcript clearly shows both amounts but doesn't explain the discrepancy. Is this a common issue with the 570 code? Will I eventually receive the lower amount or will the IRS send a notice explaining the adjustment?

Here's a pro tip - call the IRS early morning right when they open. Like 7am EST. Way better chance of getting through to someone who can explain the adjustment.
