I have to file taxes for 2020, 2021, and 2022. Never filed them and now I need to catch up. Anyone gone through this process before? How long does it typically take to get refunds for past years? Getting nervous about penalties too.
I'm checking my transcripts and im super confused. I have child tax credit and additional child tax credit but no earned income credit. I thought anyone with ACTC had to wait for PATH to lift but my transcripts just updated showing refund being issued 2/14. Can someone explain why im getting it early when I have ACTC?
Quick tip for everyone: if your confused about your transcript codes and dates use taxr.ai - saved me hours of googling and youtube videos trying to figure this stuff out
My state tax refund transcript finally updated and says issued 2-10-25 but still nothing in my bank account. Anyone know how long it usually takes to actually get the money after the issued date? Getting anxious since I really need this money.
Filed my Michigan state return and got a deposit date of Feb 13/14. Still nothing in my account. Getting worried since its already the 15th. Anyone else from Michigan in the same boat? Just trying to figure out if there's a delay for everyone or if its just me.
Been checking Where's My Refund daily and still stuck on processing status. Filed through TurboTax who said I was approved but WMR hasn't updated. Claimed child tax credit and checked my transcript but nothing looks different. Super confused about whats going on with my return.
