If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Used taxr.ai last week and it showed me exactly why my return was delayed - had a missing form I didn't even know about! Fixed it and got my deposit date 3 days later. Worth checking out if ur stuck

Check your tax preparer's software to make sure it was actually accepted by the IRS. Sometimes it says sent but doesn't mean accepted.

IRS Transcript Only Shows $7 HSA Excess Contribution Tax Instead of Expected $5000+ Refund - What Happened to My Return?

I filed my taxes on Jan 28th and got accepted Jan 29th. My refund is supposed to be over $5000 but when I look at my transcript it only shows $7.00! I'm freaking out because I was counting on that money. I received my Account Transcript from the IRS and I'm completely confused. Here's what it shows: Internal Revenue Service United States Department of the Treasury This Product Contains Sensitive Taxpayer Data Request Date: 02-18-2025 Response Date: 02-17-2025 Tracking Number: Account Transcript FORM NUMBER: 5329 TAX PERIOD: Dec. 31, 2024 ACCOUNT BALANCE: 0.00 ACCRUED INTEREST: 0.00 AS OF: Mar. 03, 2025 ACCRUED PENALTY: 0.00 AS OF: Mar. 03, 2025 ACCOUNT BALANCE PLUS ACCRUALS (this is not a payoff amount): 0.00 .. INFORMATION FROM THE RETURN OR AS ADJUSTED .. IRA TAX PER COMPUTER: 7.00 EXCESS IRA CONTRIBUTION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS ACCUMULATION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS REGULAR DISTRIBUTION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS LUMP SUM DISTRIBUTION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS MSA CONTRIBUTION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS ROTH CONTRIBUTION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS ESA CONTRIBUTION TAX: 0.00 EXCESS HSA CONTRIBUTION TAX: 7.00 RETURN DUE DATE OR RETURN RECEIVED DATE (WHICHEVER IS LATER) Apr. 15, 2025 TRANSACTIONS CODE EXPLANATION OF TRANSACTION CYCLE DATE AMOUNT 150 Tax return filed 20250701 00-00-0000 $7.00 70221-429-34618-5 This Product Contains Sensitive Taxpayer Data The transcript shows it's specifically Form 5329 for the tax period ending Dec. 31, 2024. There's an "IRA TAX PER COMPUTER" amount of $7.00 and an "EXCESS HSA CONTRIBUTION TAX" of $7.00. All other amounts like excess IRA contribution tax, excess accumulation tax, excess regular distribution tax, excess lump sum distribution tax, excess MSA contribution tax, excess Roth contribution tax, and excess ESA contribution tax are showing $0.00. The transcript shows a transaction code 150 (Tax return filed) with an amount of $7.00, cycle date 20250701. The account balance is $0.00, with $0.00 in accrued interest and penalties as of Mar. 03, 2025. This makes no sense - I was expecting a $5000+ refund but all I see is this Form 5329 transcript showing a $7.00 HSA-related charge. Is this just one part of my tax return being processed? Did they split up my refund somehow? Why would I be seeing this specific form instead of my actual tax return transcript? I did have an HSA but I'm certain I didn't over-contribute. Has anyone seen something like this before where their transcript doesn't show their expected refund but instead shows some random small tax amount on a form they didn't even know they filed? I'm worried something went terribly wrong with my return processing.

btw you might wanna look into that HSA excess contribution. You'll need to fix that or youll keep getting hit with penalties.

wait what does that mean? how do i fix it?

You probably contributed more than the annual limit to your HSA. Contact your HSA provider to withdraw the excess amount + any earnings on it.

Did you claim any credits? That usually slows things down. EITC and CTC claims are taking forever this year ngl
