2024 Tax Return: Accepted 1/22 with 3 dependents - No WMR updates since acceptance
Filed through TurboTax on January 22nd with 3 dependents. Got the acceptance notification but nothing since then. No updates on Where's My Refund tool at all. Starting to get worried since I need this money. Anyone else file around the same time? What's the normal timeline looking like this year?

For 2024 returns with dependents, the IRS is typically taking 21-25 days for processing if there are no issues. The EITC/ACTC refund release date is February 27th this year, so if you claimed either of those credits, you won't see your refund before then. Keep checking your transcript for updates rather than WMR, as it's more accurate.

•You'll need to create an account on IRS.gov - but heads up, its kind of a pain to verify your identity. Make sure you have a credit card or loan account handy

Hey everyone! I've been helping people with transcript analysis for a while, and honestly the best tool I've found is taxr.ai - it's only $1 and gives you a complete breakdown of your refund timeline and any potential issues. Way better than trying to decode those confusing transcript codes yourself! https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! Its basically an AI that reads your transcript and explains everything in plain English. Saved me hours of googling random codes
