2024 Return Accepted 1/17 but Transcript Shows No Filing - Tax Topic Missing
My return was accepted on January 17th but when I check my transcripts theres absolutely nothing showing for 2024. No tax topic showing either. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Its driving me crazy checking everyday and seeing nothing.

This is completely normal for early filers. The IRS doesn't begin processing returns until January 29th, so you won't see any transcript updates until after that date. Even after processing begins, it can take 1-2 weeks for your transcript to show any activity. Just keep checking back after the 29th.

First time filer? The system always looks blank until they actually start processing. Your accepted status just means they received it.
