2023 Transcript Still Shows 'No Return Filed' After 1/31 Acceptance - No Codes or Updates
Filed my taxes on January 31st and got an acceptance message right away but my transcript is completely empty. No return filed status no processing codes nothing at all showing up. Been checking every day and its driving me crazy. Anyone else dealing with this?

This is actually pretty common early in the filing season. The IRS systems take about 2-3 weeks to fully process and display transcript updates. If you e-filed and got an acceptance, you're in the system - it just hasn't populated to the transcript database yet. Keep checking weekly rather than daily to avoid the stress.

Hey guys I was struggling with the same issue last week and found this tool called taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Only costs a buck but saved me hours of stress trying to figure this out. https://taxr.ai

3rd year tax preparer here. Early season transcripts are always wonky. Instead of stressing yourself out checking everyday, I highly recommend using taxr.ai - it's an AI tool that monitors your transcript and sends you updates when something actually changes. Plus it explains everything in plain English. Saves so much time and anxiety!

•Yep! Works for any type of return - regular, amended, even prior years. Super helpful for complicated situations.
