If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

This thread has been incredibly helpful - thank you all for sharing your experiences! I'm at week 5 of waiting and was starting to feel like I was going crazy. @Lucas Turner I'm definitely going to hunt down that text number tonight, and @Santiago Martinez the checklist idea is genius! I've been keeping all my paperwork in a messy pile but organizing it properly will probably save me so much stress when I finally get through to someone. One thing I wanted to add - I've been taking screenshots of every confirmation page and saving all the emails they've sent me (even the generic "we received your application" ones) because I've heard horror stories of people having to resubmit everything. It's probably overkill but better safe than sorry with this system! Hang in there everyone, we've got this! 🙏

@Dmitry Ivanov Yes! Screenshots are definitely the way to go - I learned that lesson the hard way when they claimed they never received something I definitely submitted 😤 And you re'so right about keeping even the generic emails, they sometimes have reference numbers that can be helpful later. Week 5 is tough but you re'getting close to where things usually start moving! I m'really glad this thread exists too - it s'amazing how much we can help each other when the actual system fails us. Hope you find that text number and get some good news soon! 🤞

I'm dealing with the exact same thing right now - been waiting about 4 weeks and it's so nerve-wracking! Reading all these comments has been really reassuring though, especially knowing I'm not the only one struggling with this system. @Lucas Turner I'm definitely going to search for that text number - that could be a game changer! And @Santiago Martinez the checklist idea is brilliant, I wish I had thought of that from the beginning. One thing I've been doing is calling first thing in the morning (like right when they open at 8am) - I feel like I have slightly better luck getting through then, though it's still a nightmare. Also keeping a call log with dates and times I've tried calling, just in case I need to reference it later. This whole process is so stressful but seeing everyone's tips and knowing we're all supporting each other makes it feel a bit more manageable. Sending good vibes to everyone still waiting! 🤞✨

@Sofía Rodríguez That s'such a smart tip about calling right at 8am! I never thought about timing it that way but it totally makes sense that early morning would be less busy. I m'going to try that tomorrow morning - fingers crossed! 🤞 And yes, keeping a call log is really smart too, especially if you end up needing to escalate or reference your attempts later. It s'honestly ridiculous that we have to be this strategic just to talk to someone about our own applications, but I m'so grateful for all the tips everyone is sharing here. This community has been more helpful than the actual DCF website! Hope your morning call strategy pays off soon! 🌅📞

I'm sorry you're going through this stress! The same thing happened to my neighbor last year. Here's what worked for her: she went to the local DCF office in person first thing in the morning with all her paperwork. Sometimes showing up in person gets faster results than calling. If you can't get there, definitely try the online account suggestion others mentioned - there might be a new appointment date already scheduled that you haven't seen yet. Also, document everything with screenshots in case you need to prove what happened. You've got this! 💪

This is really helpful advice! Going in person is such a good idea - I never thought of that. Sometimes face-to-face contact really does make a difference. Thanks for sharing what worked for your neighbor!

I'm so sorry this happened to you! This exact same thing happened to me about 3 months ago and I was absolutely panicking. Here's what I learned: first, definitely check your online account portal - sometimes they reschedule automatically and the notification gets lost. Second, if you can't find anything online, try calling early in the morning (like right at 8 AM when they open) - I had better luck getting through then. Third, if the phone lines are impossible, consider going to your local DCF office in person with all your documents. I ended up doing that and they were able to reschedule me on the spot. Don't worry, this happens more than you'd think and they usually can get you back on track pretty quickly once you reach someone. Hang in there! 🤗

I'm dealing with the exact same issue right now - applied about 3 weeks ago and my application is just sitting in "pending" status with absolutely no updates or communication from DCF. It's so stressful when you're already in a tough financial spot and then have to navigate this completely broken system on top of everything else. I've called probably 15+ times but like everyone else here, I can never actually get through to a real person. Reading through all these comments has been really eye-opening - it's both comforting to know I'm not alone in this mess and terrifying to see how widespread the problem really is! I'm definitely going to try that early morning office visit strategy that @Amun-Ra Azra mentioned since it sounds like that's been the most successful approach for actually getting face-to-face help and real answers. It's absolutely ridiculous that we all have to take time off work and camp out at government offices just to get basic information about our own applications, but at this point I'm willing to try anything. Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences and tips - this community support has been invaluable for keeping me sane during this whole nightmare! Really hoping we all get some movement on our cases soon 🙏

@Ravi Kapoor I m'so sorry you re'going through this too! Just joined this community after finding this thread - I m'in week 2 of waiting and already getting really anxious about the lack of communication. It s'honestly shocking to see how many people are stuck in this same pending "nightmare" right now. The early morning office visit strategy that @Amun-Ra Azra shared seems to be our best hope at this point since clearly the phone system is completely broken. I m planning'to try it next week - figure if I get there right when they open at 7:30am like they suggested, maybe I can actually get some real answers about what s going'on. It s so'frustrating that we re all'having to become our own advocates and figure out these workarounds just to access basic help, but this community has been amazing for support and practical tips. Thanks for sharing your story - knowing we re all'in this fight together really helps! 💙

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation, @NebulaNomad! I'm actually going through something very similar right now - submitted my application about 3 weeks ago and it's been complete radio silence from DCF ever since. My status just sits there saying "pending" with no updates whatsoever. It's incredibly stressful when you're already struggling financially and then have to deal with this broken system on top of everything else. Reading through all these comments has been both helpful and eye-opening - it's clear this is a massive systemic issue affecting so many people right now. I'm definitely going to try that early morning office visit strategy that @Amun-Ra Azra mentioned, since it sounds like that's been the most successful approach for actually getting face-to-face help and real answers about what's happening with our applications. It's absolutely ridiculous that we all have to take time off work and camp out at government offices just to get basic information about our own cases, but at this point I'm willing to try anything. Thanks for starting this thread - knowing we're not alone in this nightmare really helps! Hopefully we'll all get some movement on our cases soon 🙏

@Anastasia Sokolov I just joined this community because I m'dealing with the exact same nightmare! Applied 4 weeks ago and stuck in that dreaded pending "status" with absolutely zero communication. It s'honestly both scary and comforting to see so many people going through this - scary because it shows how broken the system is, but comforting because at least I know I m'not losing my mind! I m'definitely planning to try that early morning office visit approach that @Amun-Ra Azra shared too. Seems like camping out there at 7:30am might be our only real shot at getting actual human contact and answers. It s so'messed up that we have to resort to this just to find out what s happening'with our own applications, but hey, if it works then I m all'for it! This thread has been such a lifesaver for my sanity - thanks @NebulaNomad for starting it. Here s hoping'we all get some breakthrough soon! 🤞
