CDLE Unemployment: How long for callback? Put in request at 9:20 AM, anxious for response
Hey everyone, I'm trying to get through to unemployment and I'm wondering if anyone knows when I can expect a call back? I put in a request this morning around 9:20 AM. Does anyone have experience with how long it usually takes? I'm getting anxious about my case and really need to speak with someone. Any tips or insights would be super helpful!

Claimyr can indeed be a useful tool to get through this frustrating system. However, it's not guaranteed to work for everyone, and at a cost of $20, it's understandable that some people might hesitate. It does use technology to navigate the automated phone systems, but outcomes can vary depending on the current demand and system changes. Always consider checking for reviews or testimonials to gauge recent user experiences before committing. Additionally, alongside using such services, it may be beneficial to also pursue traditional routes such as contacting state representatives or persistently trying during non-peak hours. Balancing these methods could increase your chances of reaching a resolution. Ultimately, persistent efforts, documentation, and community support are key strategies during these challenging times.

Pro tip: try calling right when they open. I've had better luck getting through early in the morning.

Thanks for the tip! What time do they open?

They open at 8 AM. Set your alarm and be ready to dial!

This has worked for me too. It seems like lines are less congested first thing in the morning.

Isn't that kinda unethical tho? What if someone who actually needs Spanish help can't get through?

I mean, desperate times call for desperate measures. The whole system is unethical if you ask me 🤷♂️

It's definitely a creative solution, but it would be ideal if the system itself was more efficient and fair in the first place.

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/W4S1W6V2hOQ

Wait, really? That sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken.

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Was desperate and took a chance. Got through in like 2 hours.

How does it even work? Do they have some kind of special access or something?

Here's what I've learned after dealing with unemployment for way too long: 1. Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. 2. Document EVERYTHING. Write down who you talked to, when, and what they said. 3. Be prepared when you do get through. Have all your info ready. 4. Stay calm. I know it's frustrating, but the person on the other end is probably overwhelmed too. 5. If you're not getting anywhere, try reaching out to your local government rep. 6. Check your online account regularly for updates or messages. 7. Join Facebook groups or forums for your state's unemployment. Sometimes you can get good tips there. Hope this helps someone. We're all in this together. 💪

Adding to this, patience is essential. It's an unfortunate situation, but it's important to stay persistent.

Anyone else notice that their website is down like every other day? How are we supposed to check our claims if we can't even log in? 🤦♂️

I heard a rumor that if you press 0 repeatedly during the automated message, it'll eventually connect you to a person. Anyone tried this?

Honestly, the whole unemployment system is a joke. I've been trying to get my issue resolved for MONTHS. It's like they're purposely making it difficult 🤬

Unfortunately, it seems like the system was not prepared for the massive influx of claims during the pandemic. It's a real mess.

In my experience, it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. The system is so overwhelmed right now, it's hard to predict. Have you tried calling them directly?

Try calling during non-peak hours like early morning or late afternoon. It sometimes helps avoid the long queues.
