Hi, Kayla You need to follow EDD instruction to upload your identity documents. Once they verified your identities, you will get your backdate updated and get paid your backpay shortly. I followed to upload when I had this notice. If you don't upload by deadline, your benefit may decline because edd can't complete your backdate process. So do today. Fast is good to complete.

When you click, It guides you which documents acceptable to upload. Until you submit button, you can pause to upload. It's just a driver license, utility bill or bank statement or tax return (schedule c or w2) like that.

I received mine after 2 weeks. So Upload and then wait for max 3 weeks to automatically updated. If not, call edd for tier 2 to request.

@Esmie, Treyan. I just told tier 2 that I couldn't get through edd so I missed to request a backdate. It's all true, right? At that time, I wasn't aware of claimyr service and had to call over 80 times a day, but edd automated message only told me "call again" Before claimyr, I spent lots of days, weeks calling edd. EDD messages never responded me back.

How can we backdate when edd never picks up our phone call?
