I had two jobs during and before the pandemic. My second job was part time and I was only working for about 3 months before they let me go for covid. Well when I applied they keep basing my off my part time job basically with not too much accumulated. Now I’m being told my are out so I filed a new with my first job before the part time and all they did was pay me for the remaining balance on the old and I have been stuck unable to receive benefits 😩 help or any insights would be great

•Yes I did my main job in which I worked full time they even asked about the job on the original phone interview but still did not update my claim. I have not spoken to a Tier 2 but I’m waiting for a call now

•If you worked full time before those two jobs in the last 18 months, It should be updated and included in your eligible benefit amount. Yes, you’re doing a right thing now. Call and speak with tier 2 about your update.

Your benefits are calculated from your total of wage report to by your employer. If you have wages from; 1.1st job - $2,000/month 2. 2nd job - $1,000/month will calculates your benefits 1st job wages + 2nd wages ($3,000 - NOT $1,000). selects your highest Q's W-2 total for your Weekly benefits amount. Also, if you have 1st job income, you MUST report your when you certify for benefits. Many claimants made mistakes that they can file UI for 1 job of 2 jobs. ex) You lost 2nd job and filed new claim. Your WBA $350. When you certify for benefits, you MUST report the weekly wages from 1st job. If you miss the wage report, you will get "overpayment" notice. If you are not sure, call to file new or question regarding your new claim. https://join.claimyr.com/1373f0

I'm dealing with a similar situation where isn't considering all my employment history when calculating benefits. From what I've learned, you should definitely push to speak with a Tier 2 representative as Katie mentioned. They have more authority to make corrections to your claim. Make sure you have all your W-2s and pay stubs from both jobs ready when you call. Sometimes it takes multiple calls and escalations, but don't give up - you're entitled to have ALL your qualifying wages included in the calculation, not just the most recent part-time job. Document everything and keep records of your calls. Good luck!
