I had a phone interview over 2 weeks ago and still haven’t received my payments for my claim. The customer service numbers are not working and I still haven’t received anything in the mail. Anyone know how long it takes for EDD to update my pending status and release funds?

Hi Warren. It’s like a half year. Officially, Edd announced that phone interview can take 26 weeks to schedule but many call Edd and request to schedule next day or a few days later or remove. Edd also removes it for eligible claimant. I would call Edd and speak with tier 2 to resolve today. For Edd, claimyr is easy to get through. Katrina, normally 1-3 weeks so you may wait one more week for updates or call Edd again.

Thanks for the update Katie -- I spoke to tier 2 thanks for your help! They said unfortunately I need the phone interview. I refiled in April so it's over half a year already. My congressman reached out on my behalf. So I have to keep waiting. But at least now I know!
