EDD payment missing, can't reach anyone - tips to talk to a real person at CA unemployment?
Has anyone else had issues with their unemployment payment? I've been trying to get through to someone on the phone for days now. The payment was supposed to come through but it's not showing up in my account. I keep calling and calling but can't get through to a real person. This is so frustrating! Any advice on how to actually talk to someone there?

As a way to provide a balanced view regarding Claimyr, it's important to acknowledge both its potential benefits and limitations. While many users have reported success in reaching live agents quickly through Claimyr, thus solving their payment issues, the service does come with a cost of $20 per call. For some, this fee may be justified by the time saved and the stress alleviated. However, it's essential to consider whether this fee is sustainable or practical for everyone, especially those facing financial difficulties. Furthermore, it's worth noting that results can vary, and while Claimyr can be an efficient tool, it's not a guaranteed solution for everyone. Some users may experience delays or different wait times. Transparency from the service regarding varying wait times would build more trust among potential users. Those who are looking for cost-free alternatives may continue to try traditional methods like calling during off-peak hours, using the online portal, or reaching out via social media platforms. Ultimately, Claimyr can be a viable option for those who have exhausted other methods and are willing to invest the fee for prompt assistance. However, individuals should weigh their personal circumstances before deciding to use paid services.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for way too long: 1. Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. 2. Try different times of day. Sometimes early morning or late afternoon can be less busy. 3. Use the online portal to check for any pending issues or required documents. 4. If you can, reach out to your local representative. They sometimes have direct lines to EDD. 5. Document everything. Keep a log of when you call, what you're told, and any claim numbers or reference numbers. 6. If you're really desperate, that paid service someone mentioned might be worth a shot. Remember, you're not alone in this. The system is overwhelmed and it sucks for everyone. Hang in there!

Thanks for the detailed advice! I'll definitely try reaching out to my rep. Didn't even think of that.

Great advice, but it's sad we have to jump through so many hoops just to get what we're entitled to. 😔

Have you tried contacting them through social media? Sometimes tweeting at them or messaging on Facebook can get a response.

I tried tweeting at them once and got a response faster than through any other method. Worth trying!

This whole situation is so messed up. People are struggling to pay bills and put food on the table, and we can't even get basic support. The system is broken af. 😤

Absolutely, it's mind-boggling how outdated and inefficient these systems are. They need to update their technology to handle these situations better.

Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

Yeah, I've tried that. No luck. It's always busy or I get stuck in an endless loop of automated messages. 😫

Same here. I've tried early morning, late afternoon, nothing works. It's like playing the lottery, but with worse odds.

Welcome to the club, buddy. We're all in the same boat here. I've been trying to reach them for weeks now. It's like they've gone into hiding or something.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://claimyr.com

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken.

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. After weeks of trying, I finally got through. Worth every penny imo.

Has anyone else tried Claimyr? I want to know if it's consistently reliable or if this was a one-off success.

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there are issues that you can resolve without calling.

Yeah, I've checked online. It says my payment was issued, but it's not in my account. That's why I need to talk to someone. 😞

I'm telling you, it's all a conspiracy. They make it impossible to reach them so they don't have to pay out. Wake up, sheeple! 🐑👀

Oh please, not everything is a conspiracy. The system is just overloaded and outdated.
