EDD Phone Nightmare: Can't Get Through to an Agent for Days. Any Success Stories or Tips?

For real tho! It's like they're purposely making it hard. I've heard some ppl say to call right when they open, but idk if that actually works

It's totally legit! I was skeptical at first too, but it worked for me. I waited about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music the whole time. When an agent picked up, my phone rang and I was connected.

$20 seems steep just to make a phone call. The system is so messed up that we have to pay just to get basic service 🤦‍♂️

I get it, $20 isn't nothing. But for me, it was worth it to finally get my claim sorted out. Beats wasting hours trying to get through on my own.

Yep, it's def gotten worse. I think more people are trying to claim benefits with all the layoffs happening

its probly cuz they dont have enough staff to handle all the calls. budget cuts and all that jazz 🎷

Great advice! I'd add: make sure you're calling the right number for your specific issue. There are different lines for different types of claims.

Contacting my rep actually worked for me! They have staff dedicated to helping with EDD issues.

I've started treating it like a game. Every time I get through the menu, I do a little victory dance 💃

I tried it. It's okay for basic stuff, but anything complicated and you're back to square one trying to reach a human.

The virtual assistant is about as helpful as a chocolate teapot imo 🍫☕
