EDD benefits update: No response to calls, need advice on extension request
Hey everyone, I'm trying to get an update on my benefits but I haven't heard anything back. I called and nobody responded. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if I need to submit any additional documents for my extension request. Any advice on what to ask when I finally get through to an agent?

Pro tip: When you finally get through, ask if there are any pending issues on your account. Sometimes they don't tell you unless you specifically ask. Also, make sure all your certifications are up to date. Good luck!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI
