EDD Debit Card Issues - Need help getting through to a human!

Hey everyone, I need to call about my debit card issue. Anyone else dealing with this? It's so frustrating trying to get through to someone. Any tips on the best time to call or how to actually speak to a human?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through for weeks about my card. It's like they don't want us to actually talk to anyone 🙄

Same here! Its like playing the lottery trying to get someone on the phone. Anyone know if there's a secret menu option or something?

I heard early morning is best, like right when they open. But who knows, seems like its always a crapshoot 🤷‍♂️

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but honestly, after wasting hours trying to get through, it was worth it for me. Saved me so much time and frustration.

How long did you have to wait after using the service? Did they actually solve your problem?

It took about an hour for them to get through, but I just went about my day and got a call when they had an agent. And yeah, they fixed my card issue in like 10 minutes once I was talking to someone.

Pro tip: if you're calling about your debit card, make sure you have all your info ready. They'll ask for your SSN, address, and probably the last few transactions on the card. Makes things go way faster if you're prepared!

Anyone else think its ridiculous we have to jump through all these hoops just to get basic help? The whole system needs an overhaul tbh

Hey OP, what exactly is the issue with your card? I had mine replaced recently and might be able to give some specific advice if it's similar.

Thanks for asking! It's not activating properly, keeps saying there's an error when I try to use it. Really need to get it sorted asap

Ah, gotcha. Definitely sounds like you need to talk to someone. If you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out on their social media. Sometimes they're more responsive there.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for way too long: 1. Be persistent. Sometimes you gotta call multiple times a day. 2. Try different times. Early morning and right before closing sometimes work better. 3. Be nice to the rep when you finally get through. They deal with angry people all day. 4. Have all your docs ready before the call. 5. If one rep can't help, politely ask to speak to a supervisor. 6. Keep a log of all your calls and who you spoke to. 7. As a last resort, contact your local representative's office. They can sometimes expedite things. Hope this helps someone! We're all in this together 💪
