SDI Card Delay: Weeks of Waiting and Financial Stress - Any Tips?
Has anyone else been waiting forever for their disability card to arrive? It's been weeks and I'm starting to get worried. The delay is causing me some financial stress. Anyone know how long it usually takes or if there's a way to speed up the process?

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. Used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Here's what I know about the disability card process: ā¢ Normal processing time is 2-4 weeks ā¢ Delays can happen due to high volume or incomplete applications ā¢ You can request a temporary paper card if you urgently need proof of coverage ā¢ Check your online account for updates ā¢ If it's been over 6 weeks, you should definitely follow up Hope this helps!
