Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been in the same boat trying to reach them for weeks. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

From my experience, if they can't reach you, they usually leave a voicemail and try again later. Make sure your voicemail is set up and your contact info is up to date on your claim!

have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member? they can sometimes help speed things up with EDD/SDI
