SDI Appeal Process: What if they can't reach me?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to appeal my SDI claim but I'm worried about what happens if they can't reach me. Does anyone know the process? I've been trying to get through to them for days now and it's so frustrating. Any advice would be really appreciated!

I found a way to solve SDI appeal contact issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ofu1lOsGK58

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been in the same boat trying to reach them for weeks. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits 🙄

For real tho! Its like they purposely make it hard to contact them. So annoying 😤

Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard thats the best time to get through

Yeah, I've tried that. Still no luck. It's like playing the lottery at this point 🎰

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Thats kinda steep just to make a phone call...

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Can you give more details about how it works? I'm desperate but also cautious

Sure! You just go to the website, choose the department you need to call, pay, and they start calling for you. When they get a real person, your phone rings. Super simple.

From my experience, if they can't reach you, they usually leave a voicemail and try again later. Make sure your voicemail is set up and your contact info is up to date on your claim!

Here's what I know about the SDI appeal process: • First, make sure you file your appeal within 30 days of receiving the notice • You can file online through SDI Online or by mail • Include any additional evidence or documentation to support your case • They'll schedule a phone interview with an Administrative Law Judge • If they can't reach you, they typically reschedule and send a new notice • Keep checking your mail and SDI Online account for updates • If you miss the interview, you can request a good cause reinstatement Hope this helps! Good luck with your appeal!

Pro tip: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every interaction. It'll help if you need to escalate your case later.
