EDD form submission issues - How to ensure they have everything?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to make sure the unemployment office has all my forms. Has anyone had any issues with this lately? I'm worried I might have missed something and don't want my claim to be delayed. Any tips on how to check or what to do if they're missing something?

Ugh, dealing with EDD is such a pain. I've been there, buddy. Make sure you keep copies of EVERYTHING you submit. I learned that the hard way 🙄

•For real tho. I swear they lose half the stuff we send them on purpose 🤔

•Yep, document everything! I even take screenshots of online submissions now. Can't be too careful with these clowns 🤡

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

•Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I got through in like 30 minutes. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 seems steep just to make a phone call. Is it worth it?

•For me it was. I had been trying to get through for weeks. Time is money, ya know? And it beats sitting on hold all day.

Here's what I did to make sure EDD had all my forms: 1. Log into your EDD account and check the 'Claim History' section. It should show what forms they've received. 2. If you mailed anything, send it certified mail next time so you have proof of delivery. 3. Call the EDD office (I know, easier said than done) and ask them to confirm what they have on file. 4. If you submitted online, take screenshots of the confirmation pages. 5. Keep a spreadsheet or document with dates of when you submitted each form. Hope this helps! It's a pain, but staying organized is key when dealing with bureaucracy.

Pro tip: if you can, go to an EDD office in person. I know it's a hassle, but I finally got everything sorted when I did that. Bring ALL your paperwork with you!

•This! Face-to-face is always better. They cant ignore you when your standing right infront of them 😂

One thing that helped me was setting up email notifications in my EDD account if that's available. Also, I started keeping a simple log with dates and confirmation numbers for everything I submit. When I had to resubmit something, I referenced my log and could tell them exactly when I first sent it. Made the conversation way more productive! The key is being super organized from day one - I learned this lesson the hard way after my first claim got delayed for months 😅

•This is such solid advice! I'm definitely going to start doing this moving forward. The email notifications sound super helpful - I had no idea that was even an option. Thanks for sharing your experience, it gives me hope that I can get this sorted out 🙏
