This happened to me too! Turns out they had some kinda system update and a bunch of claims got messed up. You need to call and have them manually reopen it. Good luck getting through tho 😅

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they post notices there about claim status changes. Might give you more info on why it was closed.

This is why I always tell ppl to keep copies of EVERYTHING. Makes it easier to fight back when they pull this kinda stuff. Hope you get it sorted out soon, OP!

The whole system is a joke. They make it so hard for new parents to get the support they need. I swear they hope people just give up trying 🙄

When you get through, ask them to explain why your claim was closed. Make sure they note in your file that you're disputing this. 5. If they can't resolve it immediately, ask for a supervisor and get a callback number and timeframe. 6. Follow up relentlessly. Call back every few days if you don't hear anything. 7.
