Trouble checking SDI financial statement - any tips to get through?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to check on my SDI financial statement but I'm having trouble getting through. Has anyone had any luck recently? I filed a while back and I'm still waiting to hear anything. It's so frustrating!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits šŸ™„

Same here! I've called like 50 times and always get the busy signal. This is ridiculous.

Have you guys tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

Tried that too. No luck. It's like playing the lottery at this point šŸ˜«

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wow, that sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

Idk man, paying to get through seems sketchy. Shouldn't this be a free service?

I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. After weeks of trying, I finally got through and sorted out my issue. Worth every penny imo.

How long did you have to wait once you used the service?

It took about 2 hours total, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They called me when an agent was on the line.

Here's what I've learned about checking SDI financial statements: ā€¢ You can check your claim status online through the SDI Online portal ā€¢ If you need to speak with someone, try calling (800) 480-3287 ā€¢ Best times to call are usually early morning or late afternoon ā€¢ Have your claim number ready when you call ā€¢ Be prepared for long wait times ā€¢ If you can't get through, try sending a message through the online portal Hope this helps! It's definitely a frustrating process, but hang in there.

Thanks for the detailed info! I've tried the online portal but it doesn't show my financial statement yet. Guess I'll keep trying to call šŸ˜©

This is super helpful, thanks for sharing! Do you know how long it typically takes for the financial statement to show up online?

It can vary, but usually within 2-3 weeks after your claim is processed. If it's been longer than that, definitely try to get ahold of someone.

Have you tried faxing your request? I know it sounds old school, but I've heard some people have had success that way.

Hey, don't knock it till you try it! Sometimes the old ways work best with these outdated systems šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I'm in the same boat. Filed 6 weeks ago and still nothing. This system is so broken.

6 weeks? Amateur. Try 3 months with no response šŸ˜

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling your local assemblymember's office. They often have contacts at SDI and can help push things along.

This actually works! I did this last year and got my issue resolved within a week.
