I found a way to actually get someone on the phone at EDD! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's what you need to do: 1. Call EDD immediately and verify your account/routing numbers 2. Ask about any potential holds on your account 3. Inquire about the exact date the payment was issued 4. Request information on the normal processing time 5. If there are any issues, ask about the steps to resolve them 6. Get a reference number for your call If you can't get through on the phone (which is likely), try reaching out via their online portal or social media. Sometimes they're more responsive there. Also, check with your bank to make sure they haven't received and held the deposit for some reason. It's rare, but it happens. Lastly, be patient (I know it's hard). Sometimes the system is just slow. But definitely follow up if it's been more than a week since you got the notice. Good luck!

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes the EDD emails end up there. Also, make sure you're logged into the correct account on the EDD website. I once panicked because I couldn't see my payment, turns out I was logged into an old account 🤦‍♂️

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a "identity verification" hold on my account that I knew nothing about. Had to upload a bunch of documents to prove I was me. Took like 2 weeks to resolve. Check if that's whats going on with yours too.
