EDD payment overdue - anyone else not received their money yet?

Hey everyone, I'm having issues with my EDD payment. It's overdue and I haven't received anything yet. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting worried because bills are piling up and I don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated!

I found a way to solve EDD payment delays issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUSJrNQyzWY

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My payment has been pending for weeks now. It's so frustrating! Have you tried calling them? I've been trying but can never get through.

Calling is a nightmare. I spent hours on hold and still got nowhere. 😤

Pro tip: call right when they open. Sometimes you can get through faster that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

Is it really worth $20 tho? EDD should make this easier for free smh

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me so much time and stress. For me, it was worth every penny to finally get my issue resolved.

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there's info there about why payments are delayed. Could be an identity verification issue or something.

This whole system is a joke. They expect us to survive on air while they take their sweet time processing claims. 🤡

Preach! 👏 It's like they forget we have bills to pay and families to feed.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for months: 1. Always certify on time, even if payments are delayed 2. Check your inbox regularly for any requests or notifications 3. If you get through on the phone, ask for a ticket number for your case 4. Keep detailed records of all your interactions with EDD 5. Consider reaching out to your local assembly member for help 6. Join Facebook groups or forums for real-time updates and tips 7. Don't give up! It's frustrating, but persistence usually pays off Hope this helps someone out there. We're all in this togethe!

Hey OP, how long has your payment been overdue? I've heard they're extra backed up because of some new anti-fraud measures.

It's been about 3 weeks now. I had no idea about the anti-fraud stuff, that could explain it.
