EDD callback no-show: Waited days, still nothing. How to actually reach someone?

Ugh, I feel you. Been there, done that. EDD's callback system is a joke. I waited for like a week and nada. It's like they're playing hide and seek with us or something 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. Used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Pro tip: Try calling right when they open. I managed to get through after a few tries doing this. Also, be super nice to the person who answers - they deal with angry people all day and being kind can go a long way.

This whole system is BROKEN. How are we supposed to survive when we can't even get basic help? I'm seriously considering writing to my state rep about this mess.

Has anyone tried reaching out through social media? I've heard some people have had luck getting responses that way.
