EDD callback no-show: Waited days, still nothing. How to actually reach someone?
Anyone else not getting their EDD callback? I've been waiting for days and still nothing. Starting to get really frustrated with this whole process. Any advice on how to actually get through to someone?

Ugh, I feel you. Been there, done that. EDD's callback system is a joke. I waited for like a week and nada. It's like they're playing hide and seek with us or something š

A week? You're lucky. I've been waiting for almost a month now. This is ridiculous!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. Used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

Yeah, I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Got through to someone in like an hour.

20 bucks tho? Thats kinda steep when were already struggling with unemployment š¬

I get it, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issues resolved. Beats waiting for weeks with no response.

Pro tip: Try calling right when they open. I managed to get through after a few tries doing this. Also, be super nice to the person who answers - they deal with angry people all day and being kind can go a long way.

This whole system is BROKEN. How are we supposed to survive when we can't even get basic help? I'm seriously considering writing to my state rep about this mess.

Do it! Maybe if enough of us complain, theyll actually do something about it. š

Has anyone tried reaching out through social media? I've heard some people have had luck getting responses that way.

I tried tweeting at them but got crickets. Might be worth a shot tho, you never know š¤·āāļø

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for months: ā¢ Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it's frustrating. ā¢ Use the online portal to send messages. Sometimes they respond faster there. ā¢ Document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every interaction. ā¢ If you're really stuck, reach out to your local assemblymember's office. They can sometimes expedite things. ā¢ Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. ā¢ Be prepared with all your info when you do get through. Have your claim number, ID, and relevant dates ready. ā¢ Stay calm and polite, even when it's hard. The person on the other end is probably overwhelmed too. Hang in there, everyone. I know it's tough, but we'll get through this.

The assemblymember tip is legit. My friend got her issue resolved in days after months of nothing.
