EDD SDI Extension: Got a Call-In Notice, What to Expect?
Hey everyone, I just got a call-in notice from EDD for my SDI extension. Has anyone gone through this process before? What should I expect when I call? I'm a bit nervous about it and could use some advice.

I went through this last year. It's not too bad, just be prepared with all your paperwork. They'll probably ask about your medical condition and why you need the extension. Just be honest and you should be fine!

No problem! Mine took about 30 minutes, but I've heard it can vary. Better to set aside an hour just in case.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

They don't guarantee it, but they keep trying until they get through. You just put in your number and they call you when they have an agent on the line. Worked first try for me!
