EDD Payment Missing - No Notices Received. What to Ask?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I haven't received my paycheck and I'm not sure what to do. I haven't gotten any notices or anything, so I'm kinda in the dark. Has anyone else dealt with this before? Any advice on what I should ask when I finally get through to someone?

I found a way to solve missing paycheck issue, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjodkKrJcDU

Ugh, that sucks! I've been there before. First thing you should do is check if there's any pending issues with your claim. Sometimes they need more info and don't tell you 🙄

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely ask about that. It's so frustrating when they don't communicate clearly.

Yeah, communication is key! I had a similar issue last year and it turned out they needed proof of identity. Took forever to sort out 😫

Have you tried logging into your online account? Sometimes there's info there that they don't bother to send out in notices.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

It does! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

How long did you have to wait for the callback?

It took about 2 hours for me, but I've heard it can vary. Still beats calling yourself all day!

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any pending issues or requests for information. 2. Gather all your employment documents, including pay stubs and any correspondence from your employer. 3. When you call, ask specifically about the status of your claim and if there are any holds or issues. 4. If they say everything looks fine, ask about the expected payment date. 5. Make sure your direct deposit info is correct in the system. 6. If there are any issues, get specific instructions on how to resolve them and ask for timeframes. 7. Take notes during the call, including the name of the person you spoke with. Remember, persistence is key. Don't be afraid to call back if you don't get clear answers the first time. Good luck!

3 months?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

Anyone else feel like we're playing unemployment roulette? 🎰 Never know if you're gonna hit the jackpot (aka actually get paid) or go bust 😂😭
