County Medical Office dropped my call during pending review - need help getting through!

I had a call with the county medical office yesterday and it was a total disaster. The agent put me on hold and then the call just dropped. Now my medical review is still pending and I'm stuck. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to get through to them again?

Ugh, that sucks. I've been there too. The medical review process is such a pain. Have you tried calling back? Sometimes you get lucky and get a different agent who's more helpful.

Yeah, I've been trying to call back but keep getting stuck in the endless hold loop. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: try calling right when they open. The wait times are usually shorter then.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://claimyr.com

Sounds too good to be true. How does it actually work?

It's legit! You just enter your phone number and they call you when they get an agent. Saved me hours of hold time.

Nah, I was skeptical too but it's the real deal. They even have a money-back guarantee if you don't get through.

The whole system is broken af. I've been waiting on my medical review for MONTHS. It's like they want us to give up 🤬

Here's what I've learned from dealing with the county medical office: • Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. • Keep a log of all your calls, including date, time, and who you spoke to. • Ask for a supervisor if you're not getting anywhere with the regular agents. • Submit any additional documentation they might need ASAP. • Consider reaching out to your local representative for help. • If all else fails, look into filing a formal complaint. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process but don't give up!

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely start keeping a log of my calls. Do you know how I can find out who my local representative is?

Faxing? What year is it? 😂 But seriously, I might give that a try. Do you know if they have a fax number?

I feel your pain, OP. The medical review process is a nightmare. I've been stuck in limbo for weeks now. It's like they forget we're real people with bills to pay and lives to live. Hang in there.
