i did this last month when my car broke down and i needed $ for the tow truck lol. but yea its fine they always load at midnite, my friend who works at the county office told me they actally start loading them at like 10pm but dont make them available til 12

Does ANYONE know if this applies to people who just got APPROVED?? My CalWORKs application was just approved 3 days ago and my worker said my first payment would be on the 16th (this month) but didn't tell me what TIME. I've been calling the county office for 2 days trying to find out exactly when I'll get it because my rent is past due. I tried this once and my benifits wasnt there at midnight!!! had to wait till like 6am the next morning. I think it depends on what bank u use or something, so dont always count on midnight exactly.

WAIT HOLD UP. just to make sure - we're talking about cash aid right? cuz CalFresh (food stamps) has different dates based on ur case number. my cash comes on the 1st but my food benefits come on the 11th. And ya both come at midnight
