Already tried that. Still getting timeouts on about half my searches. This is becoming a real problem for our filing schedule.

You can upload your UCC-1 and UCC-3 PDFs and it cross-checks all the debtor names and filing numbers automatically. Saved me tons of time when the SOS portal was being unreliable.

I feel your frustration but missing deadlines is on us, not the portal. That's why we need backup verification methods.

Both actually. Some filing number searches work fine, others just hang. No consistent pattern that I can see.

Try putting the filing number in quotes when you search. Sometimes that helps with the exact match.

That Certana tool sounds interesting. Does it work with Illinois filings specifically or just general UCC document verification?

It works with any UCC documents - just upload your PDFs and it checks debtor names, filing numbers, consistency between UCC-1 and UCC-3 forms. Really handy when the state portal is acting up.
