For anyone getting close to their limit - make sure you understand the difference between benefit year ending and exhausting benefits. They're two different things that can happen at different times.
The monetary determination should come pretty quickly. I filed on a Tuesday and got mine the following Monday in the mail. It shows everything - your base period wages, weekly benefit amount, and maximum benefit amount for the year.
Based on your $18,500 highest quarter, you're looking at around $711 per week before taxes. That's assuming Washington still uses the simple highest quarter divided by 26 formula. Should be a decent amount to help with expenses while you're job searching.
Good luck getting through to them! I've been trying for three weeks. Might have to bite the bullet and use one of those callback services people mentioned.
Just to summarize for the OP - there's no waiting period to reapply, but you need sufficient wages in your base period. If you're not sure if you qualify, try to get your wage information first before filing. And if you can't get through to Washington ESD, there are services that can help you connect.
One last tip - if your earnings vary week to week (like if you work different hours), make sure you report the correct amount for each specific week. Don't average it out or anything like that.

Just to circle back on the Claimyr thing - it's especially useful if you need to check on your claim status or if anything gets stuck in adjudication. Way better than trying to call the regular number and getting busy signals all day.

•I'll keep that in mind if I run into any issues. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but it's good to know there are options.

•Yeah I used it when my claim got stuck and it was a lifesaver. Sometimes you just need to talk to a real person to sort things out.

Good luck with everything! The unemployment system isn't perfect but it's there to help people in situations exactly like yours. Don't be afraid to use it - you paid into it through your payroll taxes.
