If you get stuck on any part of the application, the Washington ESD website has pretty good help sections. Don't guess on questions - it's better to look up the right answer.
Last thing - if you end up needing to appeal anything or have complex issues, don't be afraid to get help. The system can be confusing and there's no shame in asking for assistance whether it's from Washington ESD directly or services like Claimyr that help you get through to them.
just remember that even if you qualify, there might be a waiting period before you start getting paid. and if there are any issues with your claim it could take weeks to resolve
stuff like if they need to verify your work history or if you quit one of your jobs instead of being laid off. anything that requires manual review slows things down
That's when services like Claimyr really help - when your claim gets stuck and you need to actually talk to someone at Washington ESD to resolve it. Much easier than trying to get through on your own.
Look, here's the bottom line - you probably qualify if you've been working consistently for 8 months, even part-time. The wage requirements aren't that high if you've been working multiple jobs. Just gather your pay stubs, file online, and see what happens. Don't overthink it.
When I had trouble reaching Washington ESD for help with my claim, I ended up using Claimyr and it was a game changer. Got connected to an agent in minutes instead of hours. Definitely worth checking out if you run into issues.
Remember you can also check your claim status and payment history online anytime through your ESD account. That's usually faster than calling for basic information.

Just remember that unemployment is temporary. Use this time to really focus on your job search and maybe learn some new skills. The tech market is tough right now but it will turn around.

•Exactly the right attitude. I was laid off 6 months ago and just started a new job last week that pays even better than my old one.

One thing nobody mentioned is that your benefits might be subject to offset if you owe certain debts like child support or student loans. Washington ESD will notify you if this applies, but it's something to be aware of.

•I don't have any of those debts, so hopefully that won't be an issue for me.

•Then you should be good. Just keep an eye on your monetary determination when it comes and make sure everything looks correct.
