One more thing to remember - if you do exhaust your regular benefits, you might be eligible for Extended Benefits (EB) if the unemployment rate triggers it, but that's pretty rare and we're not in that situation currently.
I'm at week 24 of 26 and finally got a job offer yesterday. Cutting it close but the benefits gave me the time I needed to find something decent instead of taking the first minimum wage job I could find.
One more resource - if you need help with your resume or job search while you're collecting benefits, WorkSource has free services for that too. Might as well take advantage of all the help available.

This thread has been really helpful. I'm in a similar situation and was getting worried too. Nice to know pending status is normal and just requires patience.

•That's what these forums are for - helping each other navigate the Washington ESD system.

Final thought - if anyone is still having trouble getting through to Washington ESD after trying for weeks, definitely check out that Claimyr service. Sometimes you just need to talk to a real person to get things moving.

•Agreed. The phone system is the biggest barrier to getting help with these issues.

•I bookmarked their site just in case. Hopefully won't need it but good to have options.
