If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Awesome! Remember that this is exactly what the system is designed for - don't feel guilty about using it.

And if you run into any issues getting through to Washington ESD by phone, definitely check out that Claimyr service I mentioned earlier. Really saved me a lot of headaches.

I went through this exact situation about 6 months ago. Performance termination, worried about eligibility, but I got approved without any issues. The investigation was pretty straightforward - they called my old employer and me, asked some basic questions, and made their decision within a couple weeks.

0 coins

What kind of questions did they ask you during the investigation?

0 coins

Basic stuff - why I thought I was terminated, whether I received warnings, if I understood the job expectations, things like that. Just be honest and straightforward.

Good luck with your claim! Remember that you have rights as a worker and the unemployment system exists to help people in situations exactly like yours. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about needing these benefits - you paid into the system through your taxes.

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm feeling much more confident about filing now after reading everyone's responses.

That's great to hear. The process can be stressful but most people who are genuinely eligible end up getting approved. Just stay persistent and honest throughout.

One more tip - make sure you're checking your account regularly and responding to any requests for information immediately. Sometimes Washington ESD will send you a message asking for clarification on something, and if you don't respond quickly, your claim can get stuck in limbo for weeks.

0 coins

Good advice! I'll make sure to check my account daily and respond to anything they send me right away.

This is so helpful! I had no idea there were so many little things that could affect the timeline.

I actually used that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier when my claim seemed to be stuck after 4 weeks. Turns out there was a flag on my account because my previous employer had reported my termination date wrong by one day. The agent was able to fix it immediately once I explained the situation. Sometimes you just need to talk to a real person to get these things resolved.

0 coins

Wow, one day difference caused a 4-week delay? These systems are really sensitive!

0 coins

Right? It's crazy how something so minor can cause such a big headache. But at least it got resolved quickly once I was able to explain it to someone.

0 coins

If your claim is taking longer than 4 weeks and you haven't heard anything, definitely try to reach out to Washington ESD. Something might be stuck that needs attention.

0 coins

Good luck getting through to them though, the phone system is impossible

0 coins

That's when services like Claimyr come in handy - they handle all the phone hassle for you

0 coins

Bottom line: 2-4 weeks is normal, but it can be longer if there are complications. Keep filing your weekly claims, do your job search, and try not to stress too much about the timeline.

Thanks everyone for all the info and reassurance. I feel a lot better knowing what to expect now.

One last tip - if you have any witnesses who can testify about your character or the circumstances of your absences, they can participate in the hearing by phone too.

0 coins

My sister was with me during the family emergency. Would her testimony help?

0 coins

Absolutely. Family members can testify about emergency situations they witnessed firsthand.

0 coins

Just wanted to add that even if you're nervous about the hearing, it's worth appealing. The worst case is you're in the same position you're in now, but you might win and get your benefits.

You're right - I have nothing to lose by trying. Thanks everyone for all the advice!
