Make sure you're checking both your regular email and any spam folders for messages from Washington ESD. Sometimes their emails end up in spam and people miss important notifications.
Bottom line - if you don't have any 'To Do' items showing up and your status is still processing, you're probably fine. Most claims that are going to have problems show warning signs pretty early in the process.
One last thing about getting help with Washington ESD - if you ever need to call them urgently about a payment issue, definitely consider using Claimyr. The regular phone lines are usually swamped, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays when people are filing their weekly claims.
Oh and if you do need to call Washington ESD for any reason, definitely check out that Claimyr service. I used it last month when my claim got stuck in adjudication and it saved me so much time and frustration.
Same here, Claimyr was a lifesaver when I couldn't get through on my own. Worth having that option available.

One thing to keep in mind - you can't switch between types of unemployment once you've filed. So make sure you're applying for the right program from the start.

•You'd probably need to speak with Washington ESD to see if they can make any adjustments, but it's better to get it right the first time.

•This is another reason why being able to actually talk to someone at Washington ESD is so important. Claimyr has been a lifesaver for getting through their phone system.

For anyone still confused about which type applies to them: if you were permanently laid off or fired without cause = regular UI, if you're temporarily laid off with a return date = standby, if your employer reduced everyone's hours = SharedWork.

•Perfect summary. This should be pinned at the top of the Washington ESD website.

•Wish I had seen this explanation when I first filed my claim. Would have saved me a lot of confusion.
