I used Claimyr when I was confused about my remaining weeks and they connected me with an agent who explained everything clearly. Sometimes the online account doesn't show the information in a way that makes sense.
Bottom line: 26 weeks is what you get in Washington for regular unemployment. Use them wisely, keep detailed records of your job search, and don't wait until the last minute to figure out your backup plan.
For what it's worth, the $999 max is actually pretty decent compared to other states. Some places cap it way lower.
If you're really confused about the calculations, Washington ESD has worksheets on their website that can help you figure out how much your benefits will be reduced based on your wages. It's better to understand it yourself than to guess wrong.
I think they're in the weekly claim section, but honestly their website can be hard to navigate. Might be easier to call and ask, or use that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier.
Yeah, I found it much easier to get clarification by talking to an actual person through Claimyr rather than trying to interpret the forms myself.
Bottom line - always err on the side of caution and report everything. Washington ESD would rather you over-report than under-report. If you report something incorrectly, you can usually get it fixed. If you don't report at all, that's when you get into serious trouble.

Bottom line: file today, not tomorrow. Every day you wait is money you're potentially losing. The application takes maybe 30-45 minutes to complete, and then you're done. Much better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

•Alright, I'm convinced! Going to start the application right now. Thanks everyone for the advice and encouragement.

Just to add one final thought - even if you're not sure about your eligibility, let Washington ESD make that determination. Don't self-reject by not filing. The worst thing that can happen is they say no, but at least you'll know for sure and won't be left wondering 'what if.

•That's exactly the mindset I needed to hear. Nothing to lose by trying, everything to lose by not trying.
