UI claim mess: Employer filed wrong info, need backdated info fixed. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle with my unemployment claim. My employer filed the wrong info and then switched it up on me. Now I need to get some backdated info sorted out. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Any advice on how to handle it?

I found a way to solve unemployment claim backdate issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRhpktqV7hQ

Ugh, that sucks. I've been there before. The system is such a mess. Have you tried calling the unemployment office? It's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get things straightened out.

I've been trying to call for days but can't get through. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

I get it, but for me it was worth every penny. Time is money, ya know?

Have you tried reaching out to your employer to get them to correct the info? Sometimes going straight to the source can save you a lot of headache.

Oof, backdated claims are the WORST. I had to deal with this last year and it took forever to sort out. Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything. Dates, times, who you talked to. 2. Get a letter from your employer explaining the error. 3. File an appeal if you have to. 4. Be persistent. Like, annoyingly persistent. 5. Consider reaching out to your local representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Good luck, OP. You're gonna need it. 💪

I tried, but it won't let me change the dates. Guess I'll have to keep trying to get through on the phone.

Man, the unemployment system is such a joke. They make it so hard for people who actually need help. Hang in there, OP.
