How long does an unemployment hearing take with NYS Department of Labor?

I have an unemployment hearing scheduled next week for my disqualification appeal and I'm trying to figure out how much time to block off from work. My supervisor is being pretty understanding but I don't want to ask for more time than I actually need. Has anyone been through one of these NYS Department of Labor hearings recently? Are we talking like 30 minutes or could it go several hours? I got disqualified because my employer claimed I was fired for misconduct but that's completely false - I have documentation proving otherwise.

mine was only like 20 minutes but that was because my employer didn't show up and I had all my paperwork organized. if both parties are there it definitely takes longer

UGH the whole hearing process is such a nightmare. I went through this last year and it took FOREVER - like 2.5 hours of going back and forth with my old boss who was basically lying through his teeth.
