When does IRS cycle 02 update? Need help understanding weekly transcript updates
I keep checking my transcripts daily and I'm cycle 02. Can someone tell me when exactly these update? I've heard different things about Thursday night vs Friday morning and I'm losing sleep checking constantly.

Cycle 02 updates happen Thursday nights, typically between 12am-3am EST Friday morning. The best way to check is to wait until Friday morning after 6am EST when all updates are complete. Daily checking won't change your cycle code or speed up processing.

The IRS systems update overnight but transcripts dont always show changes right away. Sometimes takes till later Friday morning to see everything

pro tip: set an alarm for 6am Friday and check then. Save urself the stress of staying up all night
