Just a heads up to everyone waiting on their refund - stay away from CashApp for your direct deposit. They just lost a huge lawsuit and who knows if theyll even be around when refunds start hitting accounts. Use an actual bank, Chime, or Venmo instead. Don't risk losing your money or having it tied up in their mess.

Tax professional here - this is solid advice. We've seen numerous issues with CashApp deposits even before the lawsuit. Some clients had their deposits rejected or severely delayed. Always recommend using a traditional bank account or at minimum a more established fintech platform.
