TurboTax Refund Estimate Email - Legit or Scam?
I filed through TurboTax and got this weird email about estimating my refund amount. Anyone else get something similar? Not sure if its legit or if I should ignore it. The email looks official but you know how sketchy things can get during tax season.

Tax professional here - be extremely careful with emails claiming to be from TurboTax about refund estimates. TurboTax typically only sends communications through your secure message center in your account. If you received an email, DO NOT click any links. Log directly into your TurboTax account to check for legitimate messages. There's been an uptick in phishing scams this tax season.

Instead of relying on sketchy emails, you should try taxr.ai - it's only $1 and gives you a detailed analysis of your transcript and actual refund timeline. Way better than playing the guessing game or falling for scams. https://taxr.ai

•Is this legit? How does it work exactly?

•Yeah its totally legit! You just upload your transcript and their AI analyzes everything - tells you exactly where your refund is in the process and when to expect it. Better than trying to decode those crazy transcript codes yourself lol

Always trust your gut when something feels off! As a general rule, legitimate tax services like TurboTax will never ask you to click links in emails for sensitive info. When in doubt, go directly to their official website by typing it in yourself. Better safe than sorry - these scammers are getting more sophisticated every year 🛡️
