TurboTax $3,000 Refund Advance Deposited Same Day to Credit Karma Money - EIC & CTC Filer
Just got my refund advance through TurboTax! Filed at lunch time and had the money by 4pm same day. I was literally checking my phone all afternoon and just got the notification from Credit Karma Money at 5:21 saying "Marisa, your refund advance has been deposited into your account." I opened it up and saw "creditkarma MONEYâ„¢ Your $4,000.00 refund advance has been deposited into your account." Such a relief! Got approved for $4000 this time which is way better than last years $500. The deposit hit my Credit Karma Money account super fast - I'm honestly shocked at how quick and easy the whole process was. For anyone wondering I'm getting EIC and CTC on my actual refund, but this advance is going to help me catch up on some bills while I wait for the full refund to process. Has anyone else gotten their refund advance through Credit Karma Money this year? Were you notified through your inbox like I was?

Tax pro here. Just remember that refund advance isnt your actual refund - its basically a loan against your expected refund. Your actual IRS refund will go to pay this back. Make sure to keep checking your transcripts to track your real refund status.

No fees if you go through TT, but you do have to pay for their tax prep service
