Phone verification complete - how long for WMR and account updates?
Finally got through to verify my identity with an IRS agent over the phone. Anyone know how long it typically takes for Where's My Refund tool and my IRS account to show the updated status? Been waiting since February and really need this refund.

Generally after phone verification, it takes about 9 weeks for processing to complete. However, your transcript and WMR should update within 48-72 hours to show your verification was successful. Keep checking your account daily.

Your best bet is to check your transcript rather than WMR. WMR can be delayed but transcripts update first. Also make sure your looking at 2023 account transcript not return transcript theres a diffrence
