Pattern from 2019/2020 transcripts showing exact DDD dates - proof included

I've been tracking my transcripts across multiple years and noticed something interesting. Looking at my 2019 return (processed in 2020), I received a deposit date of 2/26 with transcript update on 2/17. The dates are lining up exactly the same this year. Anyone else notice patterns in their transcript dates across different years?

While historical patterns can be interesting, each tax year is processed independently. The IRS systems and processing times can vary significantly year to year based on workload, policy changes, and staffing. Your observation is fascinating, but I wouldn't rely on it as a guarantee for this year's timing.

Really? Even with the exact same dates? Seems like more than coincidence to me 🤔

Yes, really. The IRS processes millions of returns - same dates across years are likely coincidental rather than systematic.

Hey guys, instead of trying to decode patterns yourself, you should try taxr.ai. It's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening with your refund. Only costs $1 and saved me hours of guesswork. Check it out: https://taxr.ai
